I first heard of Lisa’s necklaces when a family friend mentioned them a couple years ago. A month or so later, I saw her jewelry featured in a major magazine and realized that she really was a big deal.

Lisa’s name (and pictures of her beautiful jewelry) kept showing up every where I turned, online and off, and I was smitten. Completely smitten.

Oh, the elegance!

These necklaces, each hand stamped, customized and embellished with a creamy white pearl, speak of pure beauty to me. The simplicity is perfection–quietly, eloquently breathtaking.

Lisa and I ended up having several mutual friends in California and easily connected when we finally met face to face earlier this year. Our hearts were knit instantly and we, along with Lisa’s sweet sister Chrissie (I really, really love her, too) and our mutually beloved friend Sarah Markley (she keeps popping up in this week’s posts, doesn’t she?), spent some happy golden hours sharing hearts and stories and laughter.

Lisa is everything she seems on her blog and more. She’s gentle and funny and wise. She’s absolutely lovely. And her hair? I have serious hair envy when I see her curls. My love for Lisa Leonard extends far beyond her jewelry line… I’m blessed to call her friend.

But I do really, really love the jewelry.
