Thing 1 and Most Importantly–Okay, peeps, did you not read that last post? I said “There is NOT a Next Big Thing on the horizon.” See? “Not” being the operative word there. (Or, you know, it’s meant to be.)
That would mean there is NOT a baby on the way. If there was, that would be a Big Thing. Also, I’ve never been able to keep a baby secret longer than a week. If there was a bun in the oven, believe me, you’d all know. At like, 3.5 weeks along.
Not really. I usually deny my symptoms long enough to be a bit farther along before I decide to find out. But, you know.
The point? When there’s a baby, you’ll see Great Big Headlines. It won’t be concealed in a rambling post about other stuff.
But there’s not. I promise.
Thing 2–I have a review for Fireproof up over at YLCF–check it out!
Thing 3–I get to meet lots of bloggie mamas this weekend at two different events–one is a sponsored event at a Really Fun SoCal Amusement Park tonight and tomorrow and one is our church’s Fall Kid’s Festival between the services Sunday morning. (For the church thing–found out another mommy blogger/twitterer lives only a few miles away!)
And I’m so excited.
But don’t say anything too loudly. I don’t want to seem as geeky as I am.
Thing 4–It seems someone broke the internet last weekend. Oh, you haven’t noticed? Some of us have been commiserating over on Twitter and, so far, the damage appears to be that Bloglines has pretty much fallen to pieces, Feedburner isn’t catching new posts, and if it does, it’s only displaying post titles and/or links to each posts in places like Google Reader and LiveJournal.
Which basically means that on the surface, it looks like the blogosphere is pretty slow and there aren’t new posts anywhere. Which is, of course, TOTALLY untrue. We are bloggers, after all. We type in our sleep.
So I guess we’ll have to start doing things the really old fashioned way–actually clicking and visiting the blogs we like to read.
Oh the horrors!
Thing 5–My kids want breakfast. What do they think this is around here? A food court?
Oh, yeah, I’m the mom. Ha. It’s my job to feed them. What craziness.

Excellent post on Fireproof! We saw it the day after opening and I too raved and promoted it on my blog and went to church the next day telling everyone to go see it. Etc, etc.
Have fun this weekend your events!

It took me a while to figure out that bloglines wasn’t working – I kept wondering what was up with everybody!

WHAT?? Feedburner isn’t working? How did I miss that? No wonder my readership has dropped a bit. They better get ON THE BALL and fix themselves!

Great review of Fireproof. We also saw it opening weekend and it was great. Lots of “amens” in the theater and clapping. And EVERYONE clapped at the end! I want to go see it again!

Isn’t it funny when Life gets so crazy that you just can’t tell when it’s normal or not.
Glad your dream has finally come true, now if the Lord would only do something with us still dreaming single girls.hehehehe.

I loved Facing the Giants and I can’t wait to see Fireproof! As a teen, I loved Kirk Cameron. I am thrilled to know that he and his wife are saved and live their lives for the Lord.
